Perfectly located right in the heart of the town. Elegantly set back from the road, with a real stately feel. Inside is warm & welcoming, and sumptuously decorated. Sunday lunch was superb, and great value at £24 for 3 courses. The sirloin was beautifully tender and tasty; all the trimmings were perfectly cooked, and everything was nice and hot. The serving team was brilliant - there when you need them, invisible when you don't, exactly as it should be. Wish we could've stayed all afternoon! Thank you all for making our visit perfect. We are now planning to stay over too.
We are not staying here, friends are though and they are enjoying their stay. We met up with them and other friends who live in area for a few drinks last night. Bar staff were friendly as always, service was great.Prices on a dear side compared to local pubs, atmosphere is lovely and the decor is traditional and tranquil.
Called in for Sunday lunch. Friendly welcome from the front of house staff. Found us a table in the dining room (walk in no booking). Very nice atmosphere, beautiful decor and very clean. Waiting on staff were smartly dressed and professional. Nice clear menu. Food was very well presented, piping hot and very tasty. Coffee was served in the sun lounge afterwards. A very enjoyable visit. Highly recommended and will return again when we are in the area.
Excellent hotel which I booked last minute on a drive north. I was not disappointed! Well appointed rooms, very comfortable arm chairs, tastefully decorated, and the food was excellent (as you’d expect from a Rosette menu). Staff attentive and willing to help. Perfectly situated in the centre of the town for easy access to all Moffat has to offer.
After stopping here last year for a coffee we were delighted that room prices were in our budget to stay overnight. We loved the hotel, we stayed in room 1, overlooking our motorbikes in the carpark. Our room was just fab. Large, exquisitely decorated and clean. All staff were lovely. Breakfast was top quality and plentiful. Literally cannot wait to stay here again.
We were at the Moffat campsite and came here every day. Best place in Moffat. The food is amazing! Staff are so welcoming and friendly. And all so dog friendly, we had dinner a la carte menu with our dog at our feet in a beautiful garden room. The whole hotel has a warm, relaxing feel and is beautifully decorated. And it has the cheapest drink in town. Can't recommend enough.
Amazing house,very ample and with lots of space for any kind of activity , from indoor and outdoor Kitchen is great you can cook for big parties… very well equipped. There is also the piano in the dining room , what would you expect more?
Absolutely beautiful place, very picturesque. Food has got to be the best I’ve had. Full of flavour. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Recommend anyone to go here for food. You will not be disappointed.
